Alltel Wireless launches business application to track time and expenses on client activity
Customers can test AIRTIME-Manager’s A4P for free during a 14-day trial period
Release Date: October 5, 2007
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Alltel Wireless, America’s largest network, providing coverage across the nation, today announced that AIRTIME – Manager’s A4P, an application that enables users to capture mobile time, events and expenses, is now available for free during a 14-day trial period.
The A4P application allows business professionals using BlackBerry and Windows Mobile smartphones to increase productivity by using their wireless device to record time spent on business phone calls, emails and other activity and automatically posting the entries to back-office accounting systems.
The A4P application provides professionals with the ability to efficiently manage their clients’ expectations by keeping track of expenses and time spent on projects. With the click of a button, A4P allows employees to instantaneously record operating costs on their wireless device, which decreases the time spent documenting receipts and reduces accounting errors. Without ever connecting to a PC, the solution automatically synchronizes billing data, sending billable time and client information to major timekeeping/accounting software packages. Additional information about this application can be found on the Alltel Business Solutions site
“Alltel Wireless strives to deliver business applications that improve how our customers conduct business,” states Wade McGill, senior vice president of product management for Alltel Wireless. “The AIRTIME-Manager’s A4P application allows our customers to seamlessly manage and track time spent on client duties while out of the office.”
After the free 14-day trial, the software is available for $35 on select Alltel Wireless smartphones including the Palm Treo 700wx, MOTO Q, BlackBerry 8703e, BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and HTC PPC6800.
